The price of the drug consists of many aspects, including production costs, obtaining the active substance, research necessary to introduce the drug to the market, etc. Soolantra is also not reimbursed, so all patients pay the full price and does not have a substitute, which probably affects its final price. Unfortunately, we are not able to answer exactly where the price comes from, because the manufacturer has this type of information.
