Good morning. Please help. Is it possible to take the antibiotic Duracef 500 mg capsules (2x2 dose) with the antibiotic Amoksiklav quicktab 1000 mg (2x1 dose). Or maybe you have to put the other one away? The doctor assigning Duracef probably did not know that mom was already taking Amoksiklav. I'm afraid that two at once can harm?

In case the doctor did not know about the antibiotic Amoksiklav Quictab already used, I encourage you to repeat the consultation. The decision to stop one antibiotic (Amoksiklav) to use another (Duracef) should be made after consulting a doctor. Also, the possible combined use of antibiotics should result from the doctor's recommendation. If it is not possible to visit a stationary visit, I encourage you to take advantage of the teleadvice offered, m.in. by the Gdziepolek.pl portal: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja We wrote more about whether it is possible to combine drugs with each other in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-ze-soba
