Hello. On the day of taking 25 tablets, diarrhea occurred. This occurred one hour after taking the tablet. I was away and didn't have pills with me to take again. I took another pill on the 26th until the next day at the same time. What now? I know that the effectiveness of contraception is reduced. But should I take a break? How many extra days to protect yourself?

I would recommend taking the remaining tablets from the blister, skipping a 7-day break and starting the next blister right away. In addition, an additional method of contraception, e.g. a condom, may be used for 7 days after the event. Corrigendum. It was supposed to be on the 18th day of taking the tablet, diarrhea occurred and not on the 25th.
I would like to add that diarrhea did not occur once only a few times within 5 hours of taking the tablet.
