Verrucutan is usually used 2 to 3 times a day, for each wart. The average duration of treatment is 6 weeks. It is necessary to observe daily regular application of the drug. After the lesions have disappeared, the use of the product should be continued for approximately 1 week. Verrucutan should only be applied to the wart, avoiding healthy skin. The skin surrounding the wart can be protected from the product by applying a cream or ointment. It is recommended that the spatula be cleaned against the neck of the bottle before use. In the case of very small warts, in order to accurately apply the product, you can use, for example, a toothpick instead of a spatula. If you have also been prescribed a solution with urea 40%, it should also be used to lubricate warts or warts at the frequency recommended by the doctor. There should be a 2-3 hour break between Verrucutan application and urea solution. You must first remove the coating left over from the previous application of Verrucutan by wiping it off.
