Does putting on a new Ginoring disc after about 8-10 hours from the loss of the old one in the 3rd week of use ensure continuity of contraceptive protection?

Hello, I have been using the Ginoring contraceptive ring for several years. Today, probably during intercourse, the disc slipped out and remained outside the vagina for several hours (approx. 8-10). As soon as I noticed the lack of the puck, I put on a new one. If the disc fell out in the 3rd week of use, is it possible to get pregnant? Thank you in advance for your reply.

The immediate insertion of the new Ginoring disc ensured the continuity of contraceptive protection. The new disc should be used for the next 3 weeks: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/96195/ginoring-przyrzad/apteki We wrote more about how to properly use contraception in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
