Metoclopramide is indicated in cases such as: - prevention of nausea and vomiting with chemotherapy, - prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with radiation therapy, - prevention and treatment of postoperative nausea, - treatment of nausea and vomiting, including nausea and vomiting associated with an acute migraine attack. In my opinion, the use of metoclopramide for side effects associated with the use of Saxenda is an unnecessary effect. If the therapy causes very troublesome side effects that do not go away, then it is better to try another active substance, which may not cause very severe vomiting and nausea. Nausea and vomiting alone in most patients using Saxenda disappear after the first 1-2 weeks of treatment or are not severe and changes in lifestyle and nutrition are sufficient to minimize them. Of course, the final decision is made by the doctor treating the patient. Metoclopramide is a prescription-only medicine. By the way, I remind you to change the needles in the pen regularly. Needles can be ordered without a prescription online using GdziePoLek with collection at the pharmacy or home delivery.
