Is Monural withdrawn from the market? I read in the GIF that yes, and it is still in circulation.

Only Monural in 2 g sachets was withdrawn from the market, while the drug in 3 g sachets remained on the market. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) recommended that fosfomycin (the active ingredient in Monural) be discontinued in children under 12 years of age and Monural 2 g was indicated for use in children over 5 years of age and was therefore withdrawn from the market. The drug in 3 g sachets is indicated for use only in people over 12 years of age, therefore it remained on the market. Monural contains an antibiotic - fosfomycin and is indicated, m.in. in the treatment of bacterial cystitis, abundant asymptomatic bacteriuria and in the prevention of urinary tract infections associated with surgical procedures and transurethral diagnostic procedures.
