The otolaryngologist prescribed the child Auglavin PPH 400mg + 57mg / 5ml, 2x a day, but he did not say how long to take it - if it can be stored for 7 days, can it be given for so long?

Hello, a child aged 6 years, inflammation of both ears, the otolaryngologist prescribed auglavin PPH 400mg + 57mg / 5ml, 2xdaily. Unfortunately, the doctor did not say how long the little one has to take it, and gives it already on the 4th day, on the packaging it is written that it can be stored for 7 days so can I assume that you can give it so much? I have no contact with this doctor to ask..

Yes, the reconstituted suspension should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8 degrees and used within 7 days. Usually, antibiotic treatment lasts about a week. If the drug runs out earlier, it is worth consulting further proceedings with the attending physician. In the course of antibiotic therapy, probiotics should be used.
