Will the prescription for Saxenda with a 1x1 dosage be fulfilled?

I got a prescription for Saxenda and the prescription of the dosage is written "1x1". I know from the doctor that I have to use a dose of 1.8 mg once a day, but is such a record on the prescription correct and there will be no problem with its implementation in the pharmacy?

To @Mxmx: Rather, there should be no problem with filling a prescription with such a dosage. Your doctor may recommend the use of the drug "off-label", i.e. in a different way than it is indicated on the leaflet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leczenie-off-label-poza-wskazaniami

And what if the doctor incorrectly entered the dose as 1x6 mg on the prescription? and in the recommendations from him I have 1x3mg

Dosage 1x1 in my opinion means 1 time per day one dose (one administration), unfortunately we do not know which, because the pen allows you to administer different doses. I cannot determine how much substance a patient needs for a given period of time, so the dosage is imprecise. Unfortunately, I am not able to determine whether the prescription will be fulfilled or not without seeing the entire document. According to the current Prescription Regulation, if the dosage is imprecise or absent, "a quantity no greater than the quantity contained in the two smallest packages authorized for marketing in the territory of the Republic of Poland" can be issued. To assess the situation, the pharmacist must see the document, so I encourage you to visit the pharmacy - the staff should give you specific information. When it comes to dosage in practice, it is usually recommended to start using the drug with a lower dose and gradually increase it to minimize the risk of unpleasant side effects such as nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea. Such symptoms may or may not appear. The starting dose is often 0.6 mg once a day. The dose is usually recommended to be increased gradually by 0.6 mg per day at intervals of at least one week until the target dose. Daily doses greater than 3.0 mg are not recommended. By the way, I remind you to change the needles in the pen regularly. Needles can be ordered without a prescription online using GdziePoLek with collection at the pharmacy or home delivery.
