Such a drug combination is not indicated if it has not been clearly prescribed by a doctor. Hydroxyzine (Atarax) and desloratadine (Delortan) belong to the group of antihistamines, which means that their action overlaps to some extent. For example, increased drowsiness and calmness of the child may occur. I am not convinced that this combination is justified because I do not know the reasons why the child uses Atarax. Depending on the allergy symptoms, you can use alternative treatments, e.g. in the case of skin allergy, e.g. antipruritic gels. More on this topic in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/preparaty-na-alergie-skorne You can, of course, adjust the doses of both drugs so that you can take them at the same time. However, this is in the competence of the doctor who prescribed the drugs - he knows the child's medical history and the reasons why specific drugs are used. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, it is possible to make an appointment online via GdziePoLek: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-alergologiem-dzieciecym I also enclose a useful article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/doustne-preparaty-na-alergie
