Should Warfin be taken once a day or several times a day?
Hello. I am after an aortic valve implantation in 2023. I'm now taking 9 milligrams at 16 INR normal, but no one really told me in the hospital whether to divide the medication into doses or take it at once. I started to wonder now if it is safe?

Warfin is used once a day, preferably at the same time. In your case, 3 tablets at a time. If the INR is normal, there is no reason to worry. Unfortunately, I do not know how long the drug has been used? How often is the INR checked? What is its value? The patient has the opportunity to independently adjust the dose of the drug depending on the INR value. The dose is basically individual for each patient.
