Deterioration of vision, what to do?

Good evening. This morning my eye itched. I forgot that I had a bandage plaster on my finger and rubbed it on my eye. I would add that squinted. After a few minutes, itching and redness appeared. I rinsed them with water from the shower handset, the redness has faded a little until now, but the eye sometimes tears and the deterioration of visual acuity persists. In this case, should I go to an ophthalmologist or should the problem pass by itself? I greet and thank you in advance for your answer,

Deterioration/loss of vision with an additional reddened eye that itches and tears requires urgent medical consultation. The more so because we are not able to assess the condition of the eye and whether the rubbing of the eye could have been injured. For rinsing the eyes, saline in disposable ampoules is used, which we will buy at the pharmacy without a prescription. For example, such as the following: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/32833/gilbert-nacl-0-9-sol-fizjologiczna-plyn/apteki If you do not have the opportunity to go to the doctor, it is worth buying eye drops and instilling them several times a day until the symptoms disappear. However, if the eye has been infected with bacteria, a doctor's visit will be necessary, as there are no eye drops with an antibiotic available without a prescription. Can be used: Lacrimal Natura https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/88324/lacrimal-natura-krople-do-oczu/apteki or Ektin https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/90499/ektin-krople-do-oczu/apteki
