The son is 2.5 years old. In early November, the son took his first dose of the flu vaccine. This is his first season with this vaccine, so it is necessary to administer a second one. The last two dates of vaccination with the second dose "escaped" us due to the infection of our son. Now the vaccination nurse at the clinic is sick, so we have another chance. Does this first dose already give any protection? At least before hospitalization? I'm afraid my son will catch the flu before taking the second dose. Best regards

Unfortunately, no such studies have been conducted. According to the manufacturer, the effectiveness of the drug was tested in children who took two doses of the vaccine.
