Zyrtec in syrup is a prescription drug - it is gluten-free. What's more: Every drug available in the European Union is considered gluten-free (even if it contains metastatic starch) and safe for people with celiac disease. Such a statement was issued by AOECS, the Association of European Coeliac Societies.
