Can I take Simulal with Xifaxan?
The second day I take Xifaxan 2x2 (5 more days). At the same time I have cystitis, can I take Simulal while taking Xifaxan? (unfortunately, I have cystitis several times a year, so I have Simulal at home, the doctor wrote me down, but I do not know if I can take it with Xifaxan??

You can take Simulal during a course of antibiotic treatment with Xifaxan - these drugs do not have clinically significant interactions that would affect the effectiveness or safety of treatment. However, the combination of these drugs may increase the risk of diarrhea and other intestinal disorders, so it is worth using a probiotic from Saccharomyces boulardii, e.g. Enterol.
