Atarax should be used at the lowest effective dose and treatment should be as short as possible. Patients very often report excessive drowsiness, fatigue, headaches, problems with concentration during the day after taking the drug. If you experience such side effects and make it difficult to function, you will need to report them to your doctor. Perhaps he will recommend using a lower dose during the day, or change the drug or implement other changes in pharmacotherapy.
