Hello for a month I take axotret at a dose of 20 mg, I weigh 50kg, I am 35 years old, I do not have purulent pimples, but capillary skin, oily and full of subcutaneous changes. I see neither any improvement nor deterioration. 5 years ago Axotret worked wonders on my face, the only symptom at that time was cracking lips and skin was literally coming off my face, but after a month I had a complexion like a baby's bottom. Is it possible that the drug now does not work for me? Please reply

Perhaps now the cause of skin imperfections is different, which is why the drug did not work as before. If you do not see improvement, you should consult your dermatologist again. Perhaps this time they will work, for example, oral tablets with limecycline or therapy with drugs with a local effect on the skin. However, since these medicines are available on prescription, their use should be decided by your doctor.
