Does naproxen cause a dry cough?

Can Anapran cause a dry, tiring cough? The doctor prescribed it to me together with the antibiotic Amylan, and acodin in tablets - I have the impression that before the infection I coughed less, now I do not even always feel that something is detached. I don't have a fever, my head doesn't hurt... Only coughing tires. Today is the second day of treatment - 3×1 tablet.

Dry, tiring cough is not a known adverse reaction of naproxen in Anapran. Coughing may be one of the symptoms of an allergic reaction to the drug, but then it appears in the company of other symptoms of hypersensitivity, e.g. rash or swelling. It is more likely that the cough you mention is related to the infection itself. Upper respiratory tract infections are often accompanied by a cough, which over time develops into a post-infectious cough that can persist for 3-8 weeks after infection. It is usually not accompanied by expectoration, most often patients describe it as dry and tiring. In the case of this type of cough, it may be helpful to use syrups with coating properties that additionally soothe irritation of the throat mucosa, e.g. - Grintuss Adult: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/33888/aboca-grintuss-syrop/apteki, - Muconatural Complete: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/100875/muconatural-complete-syrop/apteki.
