Which drug is better - Lonamo or Metformax?

Medications are selected individually based on the patient's state of health, other medicines used by him and reactions to previous treatment. The choice is made by the doctor after a detailed interview with the patient and analysis of the test results. So it is impossible to unequivocally answer the question of which drug is better - Lonamo or Metformax. Lonamo (sitagliptin) will work better for one patient and Metformax (metformin) for the other. According to the recommendations of PTD (Polish Diabetes Association), metformin should be the drug of first choice when starting pharmacological treatment in type 2 diabetes.
