Good morning, my 6 year old son received a recommendation from the ENT to use nasonex 2 times a day for 2 doses in each nostril for 4-5 days. Then 2x 1. The child has chronic discharge flow syndrome on the back wall. Can a 2x2 dosage be used in such an age group?. Thanks

Hello. And for how long the use of 2 times a day for 1 dose? I have a son of a similar age and the same recommendation from an ENT.

In children 3 to 11 years of age, it is usually recommended to use one dose of Nasonex aerosol (50 micrograms/dose) into each nostril once daily (total daily dose is 100 micrograms). This is the usual recommended dosage and may be changed by your doctor based on your experience and knowledge of your condition. Please trust the specialist and follow the instructions given by him.
