The question of why the timing of Latuda has been changed can only be answered by the doctor who made the recommendations. In general, the lurasidone contained in Latuda can be taken at any time of the day, and it is important that there is an equal interval between doses. As Latuda causes somnolence in some patients, it is most commonly recommended to take it in the evening. Importantly, to ensure an optimal level of absorption of the drug, it should be taken with a meal containing at least 350 kcal.
