The use of Cartexan does not increase the risk of intimate infection. Frequent change of sexual partners, use of antibiotics, glucocorticoids, contraceptive pills and hormone replacement therapy, abuse of intimate hygiene products, wearing fitted, non-breathable underwear made of synthetic fibers or hormonal changes (pregnancy, menopause) may m.in contribute to the occurrence of an intimate infection.
