The package leaflet and summary of product characteristics of Validol do not contain general information on combining it with alcohol. Due to its sedative effect, Validol should not be used simultaneously with alcohol. Alcohol will enhance its effect, may increase drowsiness and sedative effect of the drug. Validol should be used in the amount of 1 tablet 3 times a day, at intervals, between meals. I would suggest consuming small amounts of alcohol at the earliest after 6-8 hours from taking the last tablet.
