Maxibiotic is not available in Germany. Maxibiotic contains 3 antibacterial substances, hence it is used in the treatment of wounds, cuts and scratches. Behind our western border, however, there is m.in Octenisept, which is also well suited for decontamination and supportive treatment of small, superficial wounds. If the preferred form of the drug is the form of the ointment, then in Germany you can buy without a prescription m.in. PVP, Iodine, ratiopharm, wound ointment or Prontosan akut wound gel. Both preparations, although they do not contain substances contained in the Maxibiotic preparation, will also work well in the supply of small cuts.
