Does vitamin C weaken the effectiveness of antikyonction tablets?

For 5 days I took Vitamin C 1000 and Ritunacea because of a cold. From today I do not accept anymore. I take Microgynon 21 birth control pills to the minute. Yesterday I made love to my boyfriend, the second time he came into me. Do I need to worry?

In my opinion, there is no cause for concern. It has not been confirmed in scientific studies that taking vitamin C weakens the effectiveness of birth control pills. It has been proven that vitamin C, taken in doses greater than 1000 mg per day, can cause an increase in estrogen levels. The effect of this interaction may be an increase in the risk of side effects of contraceptive pills, without affecting their effectiveness.
