The use of Sumamigren is not recommended in patients over 65 years of age because the details of clinical studies are limited. This means that we have no information/studies on how a given drug behaves in aging patients. So far, no significant differences have been shown between the 65+ group and younger people. However, the manufacturer does not have information confirming the safety of the drug, so he is obliged to include such information in the leaflet. The information in this leaflet does not prohibit the use of Sumamigren from the age of 65 in patients who respond positively to the medicine and benefit from their treatment. Any ambiguities should also be discussed with your doctor.
