Can Efracea affect the effectiveness of Orlificique birth control pills?

Can the effectiveness of Orlifique contraceptive pills be affected by Efracea taken to treat acne? Will such a combination not disturb the absorption of Orlifique and protection against pregnancy will not be reduced?

The antibiotic Efracea (belongs to a group of antibiotics called tetracyclines) may reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. Additional protective measures (e.g. condoms) should be used during treatment. You can read more about the effect of drugs on birth control pills here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji In addition, I recommend an article about rosacea: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/tradzik-rozowaty-z-rumiencem-nam-nie-do-twarzy
