From a theoretical point of view- yes. The pharmacist has the option of issuing a prescription for an antibiotic, but it should be remembered that the pharmacist issuing the prescription takes full responsibility for the preparation issued. In the event that the drug harms the patient, he will suffer the consequences of this fact. For this reason, the assessment of the situation belongs exclusively to the Master of Pharmacy, who has the right to refuse to issue a drug on a pharmaceutical prescription if he has any doubts as to the name of the drug, its dosage or the legitimacy of issuing such a prescription. It should also be remembered that antibiotics are a special group of preparations that should not be abused and used unjustifiably, especially if we take into account the problem of increasing resistance of bacteria to antibiotics. In my opinion, the decision to use an antibiotic in a patient should be up to the doctor. I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/kiedy-farmaceuta-moze-wypisac-recepte
