No, hydroxyzine does not have such an effect on the action of Asentra. These drugs do not interact with each other when it comes to their mechanism of action. Hydroxyzine has an inhibitory effect on the activity of some subcortical areas of the central nervous system. Asentra, on the other hand, affects the reuptake of serotonin - that is, it increases its amount and availability for brain cells. Hydroxyzine is effective just a few hours after the first dose.
