The active substance in Prolia is denosumab, a substance used to treat osteoporosis and bone loss. Prolia works m.in slow down bone turnover and inhibit bone loss. If the tumour in the knee is associated with osteoporosis or bone disorders, Prolia may be the appropriate treatment. Please remember that the use of a specific drug in a given condition is decided by a doctor who has knowledge of the patient's state of health.
