Frimig is a drug contraindicated for use in patients with severe hepatic impairment, in small doses (25mg-50mg) it can be used by people with mild or moderate hepatic insufficiency. Very rarely, isolated cases of impaired liver function tests have been reported with Frimigu. Bearing in mind these data in most cases, excluding people with liver diseases, it is a drug safe for this organ. The maximum daily dose of sumatriptan (the active substance of Frimigu) is 300 mg in divided doses. Usually, the dosage in adults includes taking a single dose of 50mg or 100mg. If symptoms resolve after the first dose and then recur, 1 or 2 additional doses may be used within the next 24 hours, provided that the interval between doses is at least 2 hours.
