Hi please advise. Today I got a prescription for the drug Butapirazole suppositories from a gynecologist and in the pharmacy I was informed that the suppositories are not in any of the wholesalers and I will not buy at all so is there a replacement or the doctor has to change the prescription for another drug?

In August 2022, GSK PSC Poland Sp. z o.o. received information that butapirazole ointment and suppositories were removed from the manufacturer's portfolio. They were to be available only while current stocks last. Butapyrazole no longer has any pharmacy integrated with GdziePoLek: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/14228/butapirazol-czopki/apteki/w-polsce The drug has no substitute and you will probably not be able to buy the drug - in such a situation, the gynecologist will have to change the prescription.
