Good morning. Yesterday, the doctor prescribed me Bioxetin - in the morning, and Trittico in the evening. Can these two drugs be combined?

There are some interactions between the drugs included in the question. The simultaneous use of Trittico and Bioxetin can lead to an additive serotonergic effect. Cases of adverse reactions (e.g. serotonin syndrome, over-sedation, self-harm, irritability) have been reported in patients following combination therapy. Although in some cases the beneficial effects of combined therapy are emphasized, caution should be exercised when monitoring the patient for the severity of adverse reactions. If the medication was prescribed by the same doctor, please use the dosage regimen. In case of vomiting, headaches and dizziness, fever, high blood pressure, convulsions, hallucinations, chills, sweats, shortness of breath, irregular heart rhythm - a medical consultation is necessary.
