What painkillers can be used for people with hypertension? How to use Captopril in case of a sudden increase in pressure?

Despite the constant use of pressure drugs (nebilet, prestarium), the pressure for several days in the afternoon-evening and night hours increases to 160/90 or 165/100. Captoril 12.5 does not lower the pressure. How to take Captopril to be effective? Additionally, there is a headache. Can I only take apap at this pressure? (Not very effective)

To @Lucy:

Do not use or change the dosage of Amlodipine without talking to your doctor. Please contact your doctor and inform them of the increased blood pressure you have observed or, if this is not possible, use the following teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja

Blood pressure values at the level of 160/90 indicate that hypertension is not properly controlled and it is necessary to consult a doctor. High pressure values are often accompanied by a headache. In people with hypertension, drugs from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs - NSAIDs (eg ibuprofen, ketoprofen, meloxicam), which can cause an increase in pressure, should be avoided. Unless there are other contraindications, in hypertensive patients, the use of analgesics containing paracetamol (e.g. Apap) or metamizole sodium (e.g. Pyraligna) is considered safe. If your doctor has prescribed captopril in the event of a sudden increase in pressure, it is recommended to be used sublingually to ensure that it is absorbed as quickly as possible. After 30 minutes, the pressure must be measured again. In the event that the pressure has not decreased, the doctor may recommend the re-use of Captopril. However, the decision on the dosage of the drug can only be made by the doctor recommending its use, so consultation in this case is necessary.
