Naproxen is used to treat attacks of acute gout. This drug has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, which relieves the ailments accompanying the gout attack. This drug does not reduce the level of uric acid. In order to reduce the level of uric acid and inhibit the progression of the disease, drugs such as allopurinol or febuxostat are used. Care should also be taken to properly treat concomitant diseases such as hypertension or diabetes. I attach helpful materials: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/dna-moczanowa-jak-leczyc-artretyzm
