Adverse effects from the organ of vision have been reported during the use of preparations containing pregabalin. A common side effect was blurred or double vision, uncommonly reported loss of peripheral visual field, visual disturbances, eye swelling, visual field disturbances, decreased visual acuity, eye pain, amblyopia, sensation of flashes, dryness in the eye, increased secretion of tears, eye irritation. Rare side effects include loss of vision, keratitis, sensation of vibration of the image seen, altered impression of the depth of the image seen, dilation of the pupils, strabismus, bright vision/glare. Most of these side effects, if they occur, disappear after the end of treatment.
