Your doctor should be consulted again, as it may be necessary to adjust the dosage of Vanatex or to choose another anti-inflammatory and analgesic preparation than Opokan Forte. Combining valsartan (the active ingredient in Vanatex) with meloxicam (the active ingredient in Opokan Forte) may weaken the blood pressure-lowering effect of valsartan. In addition, these drugs can lead to impaired renal function, especially when used chronically and in patients with kidney disease.
