Can I give my mother Zaldiar and Thiocodin syrup or marshmallow syrup?

Welcome. Mom is 71 years old and takes zaldiar 37.5+325 in the morning and evening for severe back pain. He currently has a dry cough and scratching in his throat. Can I give her thiocodin for the night, or will it be safer to give only margoslavl syrup?

It will be much safer to give mom marshmallow or Icelandic syrup, which will not interact with Zaldiar, and in addition will have a soothing and coating effect on the irritated throat.
