Yes, it is possible. The description shows that the administration of the antibiotic was justified (m.in high fever). Please do not stop taking the antibiotic, despite the improvement in the child's well-being. The effectiveness of antibiotics depends on, i.e. in the appropriate dose (tailored individually to the patient) and a specific time of treatment. Too short treatment of the infection, insufficient to kill bacteria sensitive to its action, promotes the development of resistance.
