Alfadiol does not belong to the group of drugs in which there is a so-called withdrawal effect. Doses of alfaccidol (the active substance of Alfadiol) should be strictly individualized, according to the patient's condition. Dose reduction should result from medical recommendations adapted to the current state of health. Self-change of doses may result, m.in, in a deterioration of health or exacerbation of the disease due to the administration of an inadequate amount of the substance.
