Hello, will edromed 300 mg taken 2x1 tablet and octoangin 2.6 mg used 6x1 tablet affect the functioning of the contraceptive implant? How many days are these drugs used? Would any of these drugs have a negative impact on a possible pregnancy?

For @Aneta: Erdomed rarely causes side effects. In clinical trials, the most common (in 1-3% of patients) were symptoms such as abdominal pain and nausea and headache. This medicine has not been found to cause sleep disturbances. However, not all side effects of the drugs are known and described - if you associate taking the drug with the appearance of the described symptoms, I encourage you to report it to your doctor. Reporting side effects allows you to gather more information about the safety of medicines and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future. We wrote about how to report them here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane Side effects of drugs can also be reported individually: https://www.urpl.gov.pl/pl/produkty-lecznicze/monitorowanie-bezpieczeństwa-leków/zg loost-side-effect-0
Yesterday I started taking erdomed, after the second dose I somehow felt strange, I went to sleep I felt some kind of peace during sleep I woke up every now and then, I had nausea, some strange dreams, is it possible that from this drug?

To @Aneta: the implant is an effective method of contraception and - as I wrote below - there is no information about interactions. The use of an additional form of contraception despite the use of the implant remains up to your decision. There is no need to maintain a gap between taking the Erdomed tablet orally and sucking on the Octeangin tablet.
And what interval should I keep between these drugs?
So I don't have to use an additional form of contraception while taking these medications?

The drugs Erdomed and Octeangin (there is no octoangin) should not affect the functioning of the contraceptive implant - no interactions have been described. According to the leaflet, do not use Octeangin for more than 4 days. If you use Erdomed with a doctor's prescription, you should adapt to what you have been advised. Usually, the doctor determines on the prescription how long the preparation is to be used by prescribing 10 or 20 capsules of Erdomed 300 mg, respectively. There are not enough studies to conclusively assess the safety of octenidine dihydrochloride (the active ingredient in Octeangin) in pregnant women. There are results of animal studies that have not shown direct or indirect harmful effects on reproduction. For safety, however, Octeangin is not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women of childbearing potential not using contraception. The same situation applies to the drug Erdomed, which contains erdosteine. If you are using a contraceptive implant, there is no reason to believe that you can get pregnant. There is therefore also no reason for you to follow the above warnings and give up the use of medicines such as Erdomed or Octeangin. I enclose additional information about the drugs Erdomed and Octeangin - the following links allow you to book and pick up stationary upon presentation of a prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/102250/octeangin-pastylki-lamelki-zelki/apteki/w-warszawie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27509/erdomed-kapsulki/apteki/w-warszawie
