What if I forgot to stick the first Evra patch in the cycle?

What should I do if I peeled off the 3rd patch on Tuesday (the day of the patch change) I got a period but forgot to glue the next Tuesday? Can I glue on Thursday and "do" the day of changing the patch on Thursday or do I have to wait until the next menstruation to glue the patch?

To @Yana:

It is usually recommended to start using the patch again on the first day of menstrual bleeding, but it is also possible to apply the first patch on any day if pregnancy is ruled out and additional protection is used for the first 7 days of use.

Hello, I have been using Vera patches for about 2 years, I found myself in a situation where the patches ran out and I could not find them abroad, it has been 12 days since I had to open a new package and glue the plaster. Do I have to wait until my period starts to do this? Or what to do in such a situation

The patch should be applied immediately after remembering this. The "Patch Change Day" and "Day 1" change, and for the first 7 days an additional form of contraception, such as condoms, should be used, as protection against pregnancy will not be maintained. If intercourse occurred during a prolonged break of more than 7 days, the possibility of pregnancy should be considered.
