Hello. My dog was bitten by another dog. He was given the antibiotic Cladaxxe. How many times a day to give him a 40 mg tablet. A dog weighs 7 kg?

Hi I'm just wondering how to read it correctly: Dosage: 10 mg amoxicillin and 2.5 mg clavulanic acid / kg body weight (ie 12.5 mg of combined active substances per kg body weight), twice a day (corresponding to 25 mg of combined active substances per kg body weight per day). My cat weighs 4.6 kg and gets 2 x 2 tabl 40/10 mg and it seems to me that a lot so maybe he vomits and has diarrhea.

According to the information from the manufacturer - a dog weighing 7 kg can take 2 tablets of Cladaxxa twice a day. If in doubt, you should consult a veterinarian.
