Can putting on the Nova T insole be associated with lower abdominal pain?

Good morning, for 3 months I have been wearing a copper intrauterine device of the Nova t type, from the beginning I have the impression that with increased physical exertion (running for a few minutes or other activities) I begin to feel pain in the lower abdomen, similar to that during the period that passes after about 30 minutes from the end of activity. Is this normal? Will the pain ever pass? What could be the reason?

The occurrence of pain in the lower abdomen, within the first months of insertion of the IUD, is not a cause for concern. Usually, their severity over time is less. However, if the pains are accompanied by fever, unusual discharge, or the pains themselves are stronger, this is an indication for medical consultation. Within the first months of insertion, there is a greater probability of the insert moving than later. So it is worth once a month, preferably at the end of menstruation, to check the position of the IUD yourself. You can read more about this and about the spirals themselves in the following article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/spirale-bezhormonalne.
