Gabapentin is not used to "regulate" the work of the thyroid gland. Indications for the use of the drug are: Gabapentin is indicated as an adjunctive drug in the treatment of partial epileptic seizures with or without secondary generalized seizures in adults and children aged 6 years and older. Gabapentin is indicated for use as monotherapy of partial seizures with or without secondary generalized seizures in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older. Gabapentin is indicated for the treatment of peripheral neuropathic pain, e.g. painful diabetic neuropathy and neuralgia after shingles in adults.
