Can Cetix cause abdominal pain?
Hello! Daughter 5.5 years was prescribed Cetix for laryngitis. He receives it from Thursday evening. Today from the morning strong abdominal pain and in the morning vomiting - so far does not vomit but the abdomen hurts so every 2-3 hours intensifies. Casing given. Can an antibiotic cause it only after 4 donors or a needed change of antibiotic?

Cetix causes abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting in less than 1 in 100 patients. If the symptoms you write about appeared only after 4 days of using the drug, there is no certainty that they are directly related to the use of the said drug. I recommend observations, the use of an easily digestible diet, proper hydration of the body and continuation of probiotic therapy. If the digestive system ailments do not disappear within the next good one, it will be necessary to consult a doctor who will decide whether it will be necessary to modify the treatment.
