Can stress be the cause of mid-cycle bleeding?

Good morning. I have been accepting Asubtela for several years. 5 days before the end of the package appeared period. I continue to use the tablets to the end. Do I have to take a 7-day break, or is it better to skip the break and immediately start the next pack of the drug? I am enrolled in a week to the gynecologist. The rearrangement of the period can be caused by stress and complications after pulling out eights in the last 2 weeks.

If you have taken the tablets from your current blister as directed, there is no need to skip the withdrawal bleeding break. You can continue to take the tablets according to the scheme. The occurrence of mid-cycle bleeding in women who have been using contraceptive pills for a long time each time requires consultation with a gynecologist in order to exclude organic causes of bleeding, e.g. ovarian cysts or uterine fibroids. Without a history and whining, it's hard to speculate about what might have influenced the bleeding and whether stress and complications after tooth extraction may have been the cause. It is also worth considering whether the tablets were taken as prescribed, because skipping even one active tablet may result in bleeding and analyze whether you have not recently taken drugs that could weaken the effect of contraception, contributing to the occurrence of bleeding. We wrote about what drugs can weaken the effect of contraception in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji
