Beduo and Milgamma cannot be considered as substitutes and it does not matter that one drug is dragees and the other is film-coated tablets. The fact that these drugs are not substitutes is due to the fact that in their composition they contain vitamin B1 in a different form. Vitamin B1 in Beduo is in the form of thiamine hydrochloride, which, when introduced into the body, is converted to biologically active thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP). Milgamma contains benphothiamine - a prodrug. which is first transformed into thiamine, then undergoes a further transformation. Therefore, the process of obtaining a biologically active ingredient in this case is longer. Due to the fact that these drugs have different mechanisms of action, they cannot be treated as substitutes and the pharmacist cannot spend Beduo on Milgamma (and vice versa).
