What is the minimum duration of use of Rantudil Retard 90 mg?

Is there a minimum time for which I should take Rantudil Retard 90 mg (if the dose is 1 tablet per day) to combat inflammation in a two-level discopathy in the thoracic spine? After how many days can it be discontinued so that the treatment is not in vain? I have bowel problems (SIBO) and this drug affects my intestines negatively unfortunately (mainly on bowel movements) so I do not want to worsen the situation in the intestines at the same time by taking Rantudil Retard for too long

By @Joanna 1970:
Could you please specify which sleeping pills do you want to use?

Concomitant use of Reltebon and sleeping pills may lead to increased daytime sleepiness, difficulty concentrating and making precise movements, fatigue and weakness.

For @Adam: Yes, there is no specific recommendation for the length of use of the 90 mg dose as in the case of the 180 mg dose. The time limit is given only for the drug at a higher dose.

Thank you for your answer, that is, in the case of using a dose of 90 mg, there is no specific recommendation as to the length of use as in the case of a dose of 180 mg? The attending physician downplayed my bowel symptoms, hence my question

It is difficult to propose specific therapy time on the basis of such a short description. This question should be directed to the attending or family doctor, as they have full documentation of your health. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, depending on the severity of Rantudil Retard's symptoms, 1 capsule (90 mg) is usually used 1-2 times a day. Doses greater than 180 mg per day should not be used for more than 7 days. It is worth noting that in the case of discopathy, the source of pain is the degeneration of the intervertebral disc. Hence, in addition to medicines, rehabilitation, exercises and various types of manual techniques are used. Lack of effectiveness and persistence of ailments may be an indication for surgical treatment. I attach a link to the page where you can check the availability of Rantudil in the nearest stationary pharmacy and place an order with collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/66004/rantudil-retard-kapsulki-o-przedluzonym-uwalnianiu/apteki In SIBO therapy, I encourage you to change your eating habits and low-FODMAP diet. It allows to alleviate gastrointestinal ailments associated with up to approx. 75% of patients. It also improves the work of the digestive tract: https://pacjent.gov.pl/diety/low-fodmap-dieta-w-jelicie-nadwrazliwym
