Is it possible to drink beer while using Zoloft ?

Hello, I wanted to start zoloft treatment today and I took half a tablet as recommended by the doctor. However, I caught a cold and would have preferred to start treatment from Monday. Will drinking beer on the weekend have negative effects after consuming half a tablet of zoloft today?

The common cold is not a contraindication in conducting treatment with Zoloft, it is worth conducting the treatment started, because you usually have to wait about two weeks from the first tablet for the full effect. One beer at the weekend is not contraindicated with regular use of Zoloft, however, remember not to drink tablets with alcohol and not to abuse it so that poisoning and vomiting do not occur.
